History
Backstory
Kamoguchi was a diver in the 25th Ward. He was assigned by the Postal Federation to monitor the delivery men at the Bayside Towerland apartments, and lived in Room 12010. Like the delivery men, he had a computer chip implanted in him to track his movements.
The 25th Ward
Shortly before the events of #01 new world order, Kamoguchi felt the presence of someone with a high level of criminal power in the area. He believed that this presence influenced the delivery men in the area, making them go out of control. On October 3rd, 2005, an incident occurred which resulted in the death of one of the residents, Milu Yuzuki. During the ensuing investigation, Sakaki, one of the 25th Ward Heinous Crimes Unit detectives, was killed by a rogue delivery man. Mokutaro Shiroyabu and Shinko Kuroyanagi then entered a battle with the delivery men in the building, killing them all. Kamoguchi was unable to control the delivery men during this time, and was physically paralyzed by the nearby criminal power. He submitted a report to the Regional Adjustment Bureau, stating that the reason for the delivery men's behavior was unknown.
A short time later in "01 underground theater, he was visted by Shinkai Tsuki and Yotaro Osato, who questioned him about the events. He explained his perspective of what happened to them, pointing out that the system had failed and caused the situation to go out of control. Tsuki comforted him, and said they would escort him back to the bureau. Osato misinterpreted this, and killed Kamoguchi with a gunshot to the head, "escorting" him to the afterlife. They stuffed his body into a dresser to hide it from the delivery men Iijima and Sakashita, who arrived a short time later. Kamoguchi's body fell out of the dresser, leading to Tsuki and Osato killing them. Their bodies were later handled by the Cleaning Department when Maejima arrived.
