#07 black out is the eighth chapter of the Correctness story of The 25th Ward: The Silver Case and the twentieth and final chapter of the game as a whole.

Interpretation

The main theme of this chapter is taking control of your destiny. Whereas in the prior chapters, the player is pressing directions to walk through, this chapter has no walking. Instead, the interactive part of this chapter is scrolling through a wheel, to choose one of a hundred endings. The wheel is made from Kosuke Kurumizawa, whom has been controlling everything behind the scenes. Uehara goes through all 100 endings, choosing at his own free will, and becomes NT Kamui, shaped by his experiences across time, most significantly Travis Strikes Again.

• black out is the only chapter to feature the ability to fast forward text. However, this only seems to be available in The Silver 2425.
