Curtis acted as Dan's mentor until [[Pedro Montana]] set him up and Curtis shot Dan to death on a ~~baseball~~ court. Later, [[Christopher Mills]] would retrieve Dan's body, leading to him being resurrected by [[Harman Smith]] and assimilated into the [[Smith Syndicate]].

He is then assimilated along with the rest of the seven into Emir, becoming a new incarnation of the Killer7.
