The 25th Ward Heinous Crimes Unit is the Ward 25 counterpart of Ward 24's Heinous Crimes Unit. Like their predecessor, the new HC Unit focuses on particularly dangerous criminals and their contagious criminal power. However, this Unit is more violent than the previous one, and its members have the license to "process" criminals on sight.

It is suggested that, like the first HC Unit, this unit reports to a Central Police Department that makes up the main force of a broader Police Department; however, only the HC Unit appears or is described in any detail.
