Appearance and Personality
It is unknown what MacAlister looked like.
MacAlister was a well rounded doctor, respect in the medical field by his colleagues for the majority of his life. He was a curious indivudal, who seemed to be fascinated by scientific mysteries, and believed in the supernatural. He was somewhat judgemental and well guarded at points, while also being well spoken, with a strong vocabulary. Towards the end of his life, he was deeply obsessed with the ability's of Harman Smith.
History
At some point in his life, Graham MacAlister studied to become a neurologist within the United States of America. In 1975, MacAlister traveled to Seattle via car to visit fellow doctor John Gibbon, but became lost in the downtown area, where he would end up encountering Harman Smith. Believing it to fate when Harman and his companion, Christopher Mills, forcibly entered his car, with the corpse of Dan Smith having been stuffed in the vehicle's trunk. Letting the members of the Smith Syndicate stay in his hotel room for reasons he didn't exactly understand, where Harman proceeded to revive Dan, and absorb his psyche. Utterly amazed by the ability before him, MacAlister begged to take notes from Harman on the specifics of his powers. Associating the power with dissociative identity disorder (DID), the doctor eventually coined a term for Harman's ability, dubbing it: Multifoliate Personae Phenomenon. The day following their encounter, MacAlister pleaded with Harman to become his personal doctor, which the Smith accepted, before presenting the medical community with his findings, which were widely rejected, possibly relegated to the realm of psuedoscience or the supernatural.
The negative reception of MacAlister's concepts led to him withdrawing from the the wider medical body, focusing more on his research. For the coming years, MacAlister would live in the confines of his hotel room in Seattle, becoming increasingly neurotic over his preoccupation with Multifoliate Personae Phenomenon. At some points, he would begin spontaneously shrieking and continue to decline in terms of mental health. In 1998, MacAlister's corpse was discovered inside his hotel room, having allegedly committed suicide by hanging. His psychological findings and encounters with Harman Smith were published after his death by Jack Foley in his work known as Seeking the Truth.
