Margaret Moonlight is a character in No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle. She is the fourth-ranked assassin in the United Assassins Association. She is the eleventh boss battle in the game.

History

Backstory

Very little is known about Margaret's past aside from being siblings with Alice Twilight. She is an assassin nicknamed "The Goddess of Death", and is ranked fourth in the United Assassins Association.

No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle

Travis Touchdown meets Margaret for their ranked match on the rooftop of Supermarket Guan's. She starts whistling her song before asking if Travis has heard it before. After he says no, she offers to sing the full song for him before shooting at him, beginning their duel. At the end of their fight, Travis slides underneath Margaret and disarms her, before stabbing her through the stomach with his beam katana. He tells her that the song is catchy, before slicing through her, promising her that he has memorized her song.

Trivia

• The pictures that Alice Twilight is burning during her cutscene depict both Margaret and Alice together.
• In an interview, Goichi Suda confirmed that Margaret and Alice are sisters.
• Margaret being the fourth-ranked assassin may be a pun on the Japanese word for the number four being read the same way as the Japanese word for death.
