Takeshi Kinjo is a character in The Silver Case. He runs a "Back-up Shop", which does illegal investigations. He works alongside the Heinous Crimes Unit, and reveals many of the plot's secrets to the player.

Appearance and Personality

Kinjo is a young man with white hair, green eyes, and facepaint. His appearance is similar to that of Oldman, Neutral, and the Missing girl.

He speaks very formally, and is a very thorough investigator. He helps to uncover the truth behind many of the events in the game. He also seems to care for the Missing girl, and asks Akira to take care of her.

History

Takeshi Kinjo runs a mysterious "Back-up Shop" from the fourth floor of the Kinjo Building. He is contracted to do illegal investigations, but his organization is actually still legal. He worked alongside Kiyoshi Morikawa during his investigation into The Silver Case throughout the course of the story.

Kinjo was also involved with the group that the Missing girl belonged to, who traveled to another dimension. In case#2:spectrum, he mysteriously emailed Akira telling him he is looking forward to meeting him, and to look after the girl who is bound to be "late".

In case#4:kamuidrome, Akira began tracing the steps of the Missing girl, which resulted in him receiving emails telling him to wait for a week. In the final email, he was instructed to go to the Kinjo Building, with a postscript message from Kinjo telling him again to "take care of the tardy girl". The late girl in question was the Missing girl, who Akira met on the fourth floor of the Kinjo Building before she disappeared to join the others.

In case#5:lifecut, Tokio Morishima sends an email to Akira telling him to visit Kinjo. Akira went to the fourth floor of the Kinjo Building, which had drastically changed appearance since his last visit. He spoke to Kinjo, who told him about the inner-workings of the TRO, CCO, and FSO factions, as well as Kamui's connection to the Shelter Kids Policy.

Kinjo later sent an email to Akira, telling him to visit the Mulholland smoke shop, and find the vending machine with "Placebo" written on it. He also said to give his regards to the old lady. When Akira arrived, the old lady was not present, but he discovered a secret passage behind the vending machine that led to a train to the Shelter Plaza.
