Holly Summers is a character in No More Heroes. She is the sixth-ranked assassin in the United Assassins Association. She is the fifth boss battle in the game.

Personality and Appearance

Holly wears a green camouflage-pattern bikini, and a similarly patterned stocking in her right leg. Her left leg is a metallic white prosthetic, which doubles as a missile launcher.

Holly is an experienced assassin, and always remains calm and collected. She has a belief that assassins must welcome death as the only truth in life, and that loss must come with death. She says that she likes pathetic men like Travis, and she is disappointed in his lack of experience as an assassin. She voluntarily kills herself to teach Travis to accept death as well, and mold him into a better assassin.

History

Backstory

Very little is known about Holly's past. She was born in Sweden and her age is unknown. She works as a model, and at some point she became an assassin, ranked sixth in the United Assassins Association.

No More Heroes

Holly Summers first appears when Travis Touchdown meets her on the beach for their ranked match. She asked Travis questions relating to life as an assassin, and said that death is the only truth in life. She expressed disappointment in Travis's naivete, and that he was just an ordinary assassin. Throughout their battle, Travis was trapped in holes in the sand and targeted by her missiles and grenades. After the battle, Travis found himself unable to kill her, much like he had with Shinobu Jacobs. Holly was disappointed by this, and told him that if he can't kill a woman, he'll never be a real assassin. She said that she likes pathetic men like him, and would accept defeat if it came from him. She told him that assassins must die when they lose, and asked him to never forget her. She said that when he spared her, she felt his embrace, before placing a grenade in her mouth, killing herself. Travis asked Sylvia Christel what her name was, and buried her body on the beach.

Trivia

• After Holly's death, Sylvia briefly mentions Holly's birthplace before she is cut off by Travis. She seemed to be about to say she was born in Sweden, which matches her "North European" nationality from other sources.
