Yuji has unnaturally sharp teeth and a monstrous appearance, likely brought on from his mental deterioration after processing so many suspects. He is shown to enjoy killing, having become a serial killer and anticipating his fight with the members of the [[Regional Adjustment Bureau]].

Yuji originally worked for the [[25th Ward Heinous Crimes Unit]], and was driven insane by the constant processing of criminals. He and [[Taka]] became serial killers, and were kicked out of the unit. They were taken in by the [[Okiai Syndicate]] as "rent-a-cops", and were assigned as security guards in the [[Thousand Hotel]].

Yuji and Taka appear in {{MM|3}}, confronting members of the [[Regional Adjustment Bureau]] on the hotel's first floor with a gang of street punks. When they threatened them, they were fired on by [[Mitsumoto]]'s unfolding suitcase gun. Yuji told the others to attack, and tried to go after Mitsumoto. He was killed in the ensuing battle.
