Rock is a young man with dreads, always seen wearing his hotel bartender uniform. He is courteous to hotel guests as part of his job, and is extremely grateful to Mondo for showing him how to make cocktails, which causes him to start referring to him as "Master".

Rock works as the bartender in the Hotel Flower, Sun, and Rain, and can be found in the [[Power Dinner]] hotel bar. However due to nobody ever ordering cocktails, he has no clue how to make one. Like his coworkers [[Edo Macalister]] and [[Sue Sding]], he is aware of the secrets of [[Lospass Island]] and works to help destroy it.

Rock first appears briefly in [[Request 00: Welcome to the "Flower,Sun,and Rain"]], greeting [[Sumio Mondo]] upon his arrival outside the hotel.

He appears again in [[Request 04: 'S Wonderful]], working in the Power Dinner hotel bar. Mondo speaks to him while trying to help [[Maria Nicharesuk]]. Mondo told Rock about the hint "silver bullets" that he had received from [[Stephan Charbonie]]. Rock immediately realized that this was referring to the "Silver Bullet" cocktail on the bar's menu. Rock told Mondo he was unable to make a cocktail, since nobody had ever ordered one, and that he could do it by mixing the cocktail shaker with [[Catherine]]. After the drink was completed, he hand delivered it to Maria. She was unsatisfied, and wished for something more refreshing. He returned to Mondo to report failure, and suggested that he speak to her directly. Mondo came back shortly after to make a "Summer Feeling" cocktail. Rock praised him for his skills, and delivered the drink to Maria once again. Rock told Mondo that Maria had regained her sanity, and wished to speak with him.

Rock appeared for a final time in [[Request 18: An American in Paris]], seeing Mondo off in the hotel lobby with Edo Macalister and Sue Sding. He told Mondo that he had learned to make some new cocktails. He and the others told Mondo about the island's secret history as a manufacturing plant for the breeding of [[hyena|hyenas]]. He informed Mondo that [[Giggs]] was waiting for him just beyond the diner.
