'''Kaidou Wataru''' (海藤航, カイドウワタル, ''Kaidō Wataru'') is the protagonist of ''[[Kurayami Dance|Kurayami Dance]]''. He is an undertaker working for the [[Royal Funeral Services]]. While driving his motorcycle, he reached the speed of 300km/h and subsequently crashed onto the ground, falling into a coma for 3 years. After reawakening, Wataru finds out that most of the residents from his city had moved into a new nation within Japan, known as the [[Kurogane Kingdom]]. Later on, he ends up venturing into the Kurogane Kingdom due to a job from his boss to deliver a coffin to the Kurogane royal family.

==Appearance and Personality==
Kaidou Wataru is a young man in his early 20s, sporting short black hair and wears a common undertaker's garb with golden accents, alongside a plain black top hat whilst carrying around a cane. He used to have two black eyes prior to his crash, but after his coma, he has a silver eye in his right socket, though it is unknown if it is the [[silver eye]] commonly mentioned in other works of [[Goichi Suda]]. Later on, he replaced the silver eye with [[Akari Tsukiyono's]] eye, which has a black sclera and presumably a silver iris.

As for casual wear shown in Chapter #1: 300, he dons a leather biker jacket and pants with black sneakers, and has his hair slicked back up, similar to his mentor [[Travis Touchdown]].
