Hana is a young woman, always seen dressed in nurse outfit. In her art, she wears a suit which is not seen in-game. Nothing is known about Hana's past, other than that she was born in the Far East, and works as a nurse for Lady Ritz. Like Ritz, she has knowledge of the island's past and the legends of its native inhabitants. She seems to care for Ritz's well-being and asks that Mondo follow her instructions. At one point she refers to Ritz as a goddess. She is stern with Mondo when he makes repeated lewd comments regarding her profession.

Hana Kaburagi first appears at the end of [[Request 15: L'Après-Midi d'un Faune]], waiting for [[Sumio Mondo]] inside of the [[Marmaleba Ruins]]. She tells Mondo to meet with [[Sundance Ritz]] in the next day. She says that she will show him there as the plane explodes overhead.

She appears again in [[Request 16: Pavane pour une infante défunte]], when Mondo is seemingly teleported to the ruins by a die given to him by [[Sundance Shot]]. She tells Mondo that Lady Ritz is praying, before Ritz goes on to describe the [[Eleven Children]]. Mondo meets her again at the cottages behind the Hotel [[Flower, Sun, and Rain (hotel)|Flower, Sun, and Rain]]. She says she was waiting for him, and seems to have no knowledge of their previous meetings. She imparts Lady Ritz's words to Mondo, saying that it is a special day and that something will happen. She asks Mondo to look for Lady Ritz by the water and do as she asks. She also relays the legend of the man who saved the island running clockwise around the ruins.

Hana's final appearance is in [[Request 17: Kill the Past]], when she enters Room 301 after Mondo listens to the message from [[Tokio Morishima]]. She tells Mondo that Lady Ritz has an important message for him at the cottage. When Mondo asks who she really is, she responds that she is simply a nurse.
